Glenworth "Hype" was born in Cypresshall, Parksroad, St Andrew, Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies and currently resides in New York City.
His friends would say he is a very caring and loving person so it is only natural for him to want to improve things in his life. His love for music lead him to a part-time career as a DJ and entertainer. While on vacation, Glen noticed that the children in his hometown were lacking some basic things like school supplies. He wanted to provide them with all the things they were lacking but one person can only do so much. He decided to plan a family fun day in December that year and get the whole community involved. Over 200 people turned out for the event, children and adults enjoyed hours of entertainment and activities and each child took home a backpack of school supplies. His mission is to inspire others to get involved, give back and uplift the community. The overwhelming turn out of family fun day brought joy and happiness to everyone. With help from friends, family and generous donors family fun day can be an annual event. Living is giving, if you can. Please donate.
